Thank you for taking the time to consider being a sponsor of The Patchwork Foundation’s
4th K-Town 5K and Fun Run/Walk. Your involvement helps to raise funds for the local
community and promotes the importance and benefits of physical fitness and a love
of reading among our participants.
In return for your support of this family oriented event, we offer many benefits that
promote your business. By becoming involved with our event, you will be joining other
local businesses in this growing event in our area. This is a great way for companies,
such as yours, to benefit by doing well for the community – not to mention, your support
is tax-deductible!
We were overwhelmed with support of the 2012 K-Town 5K Fun Run/Walk which
brought over 300 registered participants of all ages, over 50 generous sponsors, many
volunteers, and spectators despite the weather. We have a completed plan for the
outdoor wellness garden at the Kinsman Free Public Library and are working hard to
secure funds through race sponsorships, race participants, private donations, and grant
writing. We plan to begin installation of the garden in the next eighteen months. We
look forward to the 2013 race being another success and the plan becoming a reality
with your help.
